Time to go Shopping

Once your team of a real estate professional and lender are selected, it’s time to begin searching for a property.

Take a Drive.

Get to know the neighborhoods, complexes, or subdivisions, which interest you. Drive around and get a feel for what it would be like to own a property in the area. Start getting a sense of the properties available in those areas. Yard sale going on in the neighborhood? Visit and talk with neighbors. Visit on different day and different times of the day to see how you feel in the neighborhood each time you visit. We tend to say that this is part of the “casting the net wide” initially to start to narrow down which towns or neighborhoods become the top contenders.

Narrow Your Search.

Select a few properties or neighborhoods that interest you the most and we’ll make appointments to visit them. During the showing let’s discuss any questions you have about the neighborhood, potential long term resale value of the properties, upcoming development nearby, etc. to any homes you are considering.

Time to Buy.

Once you have picked out the property you want to purchase, we will coach you on how to make a competitive offer. The ingredients of a competitive offer are always changing, so it’s important to keep open communication with us and be available for discussions on best practices and process. Our goal is to get you under contract as quickly as possible. Understand that we can’t control the seller, how many other buyers are making offers at the same time/competing with you and the terms that they could be offering. We will always work with your best interests in mind and your success is also our success!
