FAQs

DO YOU ALLOW SMOKING IN YOUR PROPERTIES?

No. Cottage Rental Collection does not allow smoking of any kind in any of the properties that we manage.

 

DO YOU ALLOW PETS?

Yes, we are pet friendly. Several properties are subject to HOA restrictions and guidelines limiting breed, size, etc of pets. We can review the guidelines and let you know quickly if your pet/pets will be approved!

 

IS THERE A PET FEE?

Yes, there is a non-refundable $500 pet fee per pet. A PetScreening profile for each pet is also required and incurs a separate fee.

 

DO YOU OFFER ANYTHING OTHER THAN 12 MONTH LEASES?

Yes, depending on the property. All properties have a leasing minimum required by the HOA. We have properties in our portfolio that allow a 30 day minimum and some that allow a 6 or 12 month minimum, just depends on the property.

 

DO YOU OFFER EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE SERVICES?

Yes! Please contact us if there is an emergency. We will work quickly to address any issue at the property.

 

I AM INTERESTED IN BUYING A HOUSE AFTER RENTING. IS THAT SOMETHING YOUR FIRM CAN HELP WITH?

Yes! Our goal is to help you transition from renting to homeownership whenever you are ready alongside our internal sales team. 

 

WHAT IF I AM INTERESTED IN MULTIPLE PROPERTIES? DO I HAVE TO APPLY FOR EACH ONE?

No, once you submit your application it is applicable across all properties in the portfolio.

 

WHEN WILL I GET MY SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK?

We have 30 days after your official lease end date to return your security deposit. Your deposit will be returned as soon as our maintenance team has had the opportunity to complete their move out inspection and assess any damages. Your move out cleaning and the cost of any repairs will be deducted from the security deposit before it is released.
