Since 1988, Christmas in Davidson has been a cherished annual tradition and the area’s most beloved holiday event of the year!
The three-night celebration captures the magic of the season by transforming the charming town of Davidson into a winter wonderland, illuminated with holiday lights and gleaming with festive cheer at every turn!
Enjoy captivating light performances, live music, a beautiful nativity scene, continuous entertainment, delectable food, holiday shopping, and a variety of unique attractions guaranteed to ignite the holiday spirit within everyone.
The highly anticipated arrival of Santa Claus, accompanied by the annual tree lighting ceremony on the Town Green, will officially kick off the town festivities starting on Thursday, December 5th, at 6:00 pm! The entirety of Christmas in Davidson runs Thursday, December 5th; Friday, December 6th; and Saturday, December 7th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. nightly.
In addition to accessible parking in the Davidson Public Library, The Town of Davidson is pleased to announce that the free trolley service, operating three different routes, is back again this year!
Whether you’re looking to holiday shop at local boutiques and gift shops, savor seasonal treats, or simply soak in the holiday ambiance, Christmas in Davidson brings the community together in celebration of the most wonderful time of the year!
